Statespace Raises $15M Series A Investment to Expand its Team – The esports Observer|home of essential esports business news and insights

On Friday, gaming performance analytics company Statespace announced that it had raised a $15M USD Series A investment led by Khosla Ventures bringing the company’s total raised funds to $19M. Several of the company’s existing investors also participated in the financing round, such as FirstMark Capital, Lux Capital, and Expa; in addition to new investor June Fund.

Statespace was founded by a group of neuroscientists from New York University and launched its first product, first-person shooter practice tool Aim Lab, in 2017. The company revealed in a release that it plans to use the investment proceeds to further grow its team, which has doubled since its $2.5M seed investment in August 2019.

According to Wayne Mackey, Statespace’s CEO and co-founder, 2M users have registered to use the company’s services to date, while reaching 500K monthly active users recently.
